I'm home for Christmas, I knew that South Carolina was going to be warmer than Utah, but not this extreme. I left Salt Lake on Monday December 10 it was about 20 degrees outside and snowing. When I got home later on that night it was in the 70s at 11:00 at night. In fact my first week at home it has been into the 80s for three days, today it is finally starting to cool down. The high today is only in the 50s, I guess it is time to bust out the coats!!!

This was the first big snow storm we got this year, we had about a foot fall over one weekend and the next weekend about another six inches fell. You always have to go out and play in the first snow of the year. Sadly none of us were dressed for it, as you can tell from my pj's. We were too much of a chicken to sit compeletly in the snow, so it is just a half snow angel.

A view of Columbia- any time of the year. One of the nice things about living in the south behind boiled peanuts, and Gamecock football, is a mild winter.
