Worst Dream Ever

A few weeks ago I had the worst nightmare of my life...without a doubt. I never have bad dreams, like never, but I've had two in the last two months that I had to wake myself up from because I couldn't watch how it ended. I guess I have a deep fear of losing my family, because they were both about something attacking a member of my family. This last one I was with my sister and her family at the zoo. I don't really understand everything but some how we were in the polar bear exhibit. I think the poplar bear wasn't suppose to be there, so they were giving tours or something. Anyways the polar bear came out of no where and was coming after my niece and nephew since they were the closest (and smallest). I only had time to save one, so I grabbed my nephew since he was closest to me and got him to safety and my sister was trying to get to my niece. I woke myself up when the bear was just about to grab my niece...I could no watch anymore. My heart was pounding and I was breathing heavy, I think it took me like an hour to go back to sleep (which was awesome because my alarm went off about 10 minutes after I finally got back to sleep. I hope I never have a dream like that again.

Rant

I am seriously concerned for the human race....I know that Osama bin Laden is a terrible man, but the fact that people are so happy at the death of another human is a little scary. I love this country and to be honest I'm disappointed that we just assassinated an unarmed man. Why not take him into custody and make him face his crimes? Honestly I was not happy when I heard he was dead because I felt like he got out the easy way, I hope that I never rejoice in the death of someone. I am happy that this mess in behind us, but do you really think terrorism is going to stop because of the death of one leader? I think not. One of my friends reminded me of a quote, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." This is one of my favorite quotes of all time and my favorite from Martin Luther King Jr. It is so true, you can't stop terror with terror, you can't stop violence with violence; someone has to be willing to break the cycle. I can only hope one day we will all wake up and realize that we need to be the bigger man in this situation, even though it will be so much harder to do.
