Rant

I am seriously concerned for the human race....I know that Osama bin Laden is a terrible man, but the fact that people are so happy at the death of another human is a little scary. I love this country and to be honest I'm disappointed that we just assassinated an unarmed man. Why not take him into custody and make him face his crimes? Honestly I was not happy when I heard he was dead because I felt like he got out the easy way, I hope that I never rejoice in the death of someone. I am happy that this mess in behind us, but do you really think terrorism is going to stop because of the death of one leader? I think not. One of my friends reminded me of a quote, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." This is one of my favorite quotes of all time and my favorite from Martin Luther King Jr. It is so true, you can't stop terror with terror, you can't stop violence with violence; someone has to be willing to break the cycle. I can only hope one day we will all wake up and realize that we need to be the bigger man in this situation, even though it will be so much harder to do.
