The Days of Summer...

I have realized that I don't have much of a life during the summer, or at least anything that would be interesting enough to write about. Honestly my days are pretty bland...I have recently gotten a library card since I have read all the books I own (that is what happens when you don't have access to a TV or Internet in your apartment). I have never been a fast reader, even books that I like usually take me FOREVER to read, but for some reason I have read three books in a month now (The Partner, The Greatest Generation, NEXT). And these weren't small books either. I guess I'm getting my reading down for the entire year, once school starts I can kiss that goodbye.

So most days I get up and go to the library to check my email and to check out either a movie or music. I am almost always returning something every day to the library. I one day want to be as good as Susan and get the most out of the library as possible. I put the Harry Potter audio books on hold yesterday and I've got one waiting for me today (which I am confused about because it said that I was 13th on the list). I'm excited....this is what my life has come to.

Most of my afternoons consist of soccer practice. I am really enjoying being around the girls, but it is hard to be excited to go to practice in 100 degree heat. The Taylorsville girls soccer team only won one preseason game last year, so we are hoping to win two or three this year. We are in a really tough region, so once region play starts, winning will be almost impossible. The good news is next year we will be in a much easier region, so hopefully we can win a few this year and build for the future.
