Merry Christmas

I can't believe 2011 is almost over...I am finally understanding the saying "time flies" and "the older you get the faster time flies by." It seems like just the other day when I was on vacation this summer or starting the school year. To be honest I am happy that time went by so fast this year. It has been a rough school year so far, the rumor is that teachers hit the wall at year four. I'm starting to believe that one too. I still love my job, but it has been a little more challenging this year than it has in the past. Even though 2011 was a some what challenging year, some great things still happened.

1. I went to not one, but TWO U2 concerts (finally got to check that off my bucket list)

2. I became a Level 2 teacher

3. Vacations to San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Phoenix (it was a very busy June)

4. Spent Pioneer Day with Tricia, Rob, and Susan

5. The entire girls varsity tennis team made it to the State Playoffs

6. Met someone that quickly became my BEST FRIEND

7. Helped a random family pay for Christmas

8. Got into the iWarriors program at my school

9. It snowed a ton in the Spring, but it has hardly snowed at all this winter

10. Helped my school raise over $12,000 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute

Those are just a few of the highlights of another great year. I'm looking forward to 2012, that is if the world doesn't end. :-)
