Bennion Bobcats

For the last month I have been paying to work at a Junior High School doing whatever the school wants me to do. I am a student teacher who spends half of the day in a history class and half of the day in a P.E. class. I thought going into this that I would enjoy the P.E. more than the History class, but on the other hand I really do enjoy the History class more. Maybe it is because they are in seventh grade or maybe they are still adjusting to Junior High, but my history students are really good. They for the most part the students do what they are suppose to and are well behaved. I teach seventh graders Utah Studies, this is basically a Utah History class and I have lived in Utah for a little more than a month. I am spending extra time after school working as the Assistant Girls Soccer Coach for the school. Right now we are 5 and 0 and we are pretty much destroying every team that we play. We only have two more games before the playoffs begin, after that we will see how it goes. Over all I am really enjoying myself at the school so far, but we will see in a few weeks if I am still enjoying it. If nothing else, it feels good to be responsible for something or someone.
