President Gordon B. Hinckley

Sunday Jan. 27 was a sad day in my life, President Gordon B. Hinckley died due to old age. I was at my friends house gathered with people from my ward playing games when my mom called me saying their was a rumor going on that President Hinckley had passed away. We turned on the T.V. and it was comfirmed that he had died about an hour before. I am happy for President Hinckley, he is now in a better place and is now with the love of his life again. President Hinckley is not the only President of the church I have had, but it is the only one that I have known. President Hinckley will hold a special place in my heart and I will forever love him. It was nice today, everyone way reflecting on his life and what his has done for the church and the impact he had on the entire world. I am going to try to go to the viewing on Friday, it will be open to the public to pay their last respects on Thursday and Friday this week. It will be nice to be able to say thank you and goodbye to a great man.
