One Month Down...Five more to go

I have now been teaching for one month and for the most part it has been a good experience. Of course you will always have the kids that don't care and don't do any work, but I haven't really had any bad students. I'm not going to lie, it has been rough, and some weeks are better than others. I actually had a pretty bad week this week, the ideas just were flowing and my lessons weren't very good. Taylorsville seems to be a really good school, it is rough not having a classroom and roaming all over the school, but I am a new teacher I can't expect everything. I am a lock for a classroom next year though, so I am not too worried about that right now. Honestly I still don't feel like part of the faulty, I feel like most of the history department looks down at me, and the rest of the school thinks I'm just another student. I know at least their is at least one student teacher that is younger than me, so at least I'm not the youngest teacher in the school. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm really excitied for President's Day, I really need the day off.
