I've Seen Better Days

So I have had a rough couple of weeks. About two weeks ago my left eye started acting strange, including being blood shot and being very sensitive to light, I thought it was some king of allergy. After two weeks of it not going away some of my friends finally convinced me to go to the doctor, where I found out that I have a Corneal Ulcer. I never knew you could get an ulcer in your eye. So Thursday night when I went to the doctor and he put me on antibiotic eye drops that had to be used every two hours until (even in the middle of the night) the ophthalmologist tells me otherwise. I set my alarm to go off every two hours and I didn't do a whole lot of sleeping that night. Friday I went to an ophthalmologist and he confirmed the ulcer, he said it was a pretty bad one, not a severe one, but bad. Then he upped my eye drop dosage to every hour, but I don't have to do it at night now. Then he told me their was a bunch of junk on my eye that was preventing the eye drops from getting to the ulcer and he had to scrap it off my eye. That was an interesting experience to say the least, especially sense he told me it was going to cause my eye to hurt really bad for the next six hours or so. And let me tell you it did hurt, not all the time, but every now and then I would have some severe shooting pain in my eye that would fade after a few minutes. I survived the day and came home and took a nap, since I didn't get much sleep the night before. Last night I went to the movies with some friends and my eye is so sensitive to light that whenever it was a bright scene in the movie I had to close my eyes. I can't wait to have this behind me.

I hope things are going better now. I guess this is proof that you are working too hard. You need to take a break once in a while.
