I would like the day off, but I don't want to make up those days in June. My school district has now installed hand sanitizer in every classroom in the district and now janitors have to sanitize the doorknobs of all the classrooms at least once a day. I'm glad they are making an effort, but I would like to point out that 1,500 people die each year from the REGULAR flu and nobody freaks out that. A few people die of the Swine Flu and all of a sudden people are walking around with masks on their faces, or you have Egypt that killed every pig in the entire country, over 350,000, over the fear that they could spread this flu. I do think it is serious, but blowing it out of proportion is not helping the situation, so everyone just wash your hands more often and maybe avoid large crowds of people and RELAX!!!!!Saturday, May 2, 2009
Attack of the Swine
Students all over the country are freaking out about the Swine Flu. I guess they have a reason to be worried, I once read that you are exposed to more viruses in a school than any other place you could work. Park City closed schools for a few days due to Swine Flue.... I would like the day off, but I don't want to make up those days in June. That is really funny that you said that about the regular flu. That is exactly what I have been saying since this started. I think that people are going way too overboard about this.
