Update

I know it has been FOR-EV-ER since my last post...trust me I have good reasons.  The first six weeks of school are crazy busy for me every year.  I work insane amount of hours and I don't have much time for anything else.  The tennis season ended up very well, we went 6-4 as a team and qualified for State.  We aren't good enough to compete in the playoffs, but we were excited to represent Taylorsville.  We actually had a girl in JV go undefeated this year, so I'm super excited to see her improve and play next year.

After tennis was over I had a small nervous break down.  I learned one more way that guys can be not worth the time or effort to get to know them.  I don't want to get into the details, but I have had a rather unlucky streak of really bad guys in my life.  But I do believe this last one takes the cake.  I'm glad I found out about everything now and not later, when it would have been incredibly awkward.  I'm very thankful for all my family and friends that have helped me through this crazy ordeal, which I hope nobody else every has to go through.

I am re-focusing my life, and I am finally feeling better about the situation.

Spring Break

This last week was my spring break. It came at the perfect time, I was worn out. My first day of my break I jumped on a plane and ran away to sunny Phoenix. When I landed it was like 90 degrees and awesome!!! I went to Phoenix to visit one of my best friends that moved in July. I have really missed hanging out with her, it was awesome to just chill with her again. We did some fun stuff, which included riding on a camel. Hopefully pictures will come soon, if Andrea posts pictures anytime soon. Haha, she is super busy so it might be awhile. Hopefully more details will come soon. If I ever have time to sit still for more than a minute

Vacations, Vacations, and more Vacations

June has been one crazy month, I think I only was home for less than two weeks. The last day of school was June 3 and on June 4 I was on a plane to San Francisco. I met up with my sister and we spent five days in the San Francisco/Oakland area. My favorite thing we did was a bike tour of the city. San Francisco is a city full of massive hills so we got bikes that were electric. It was awesome to see the Golden Gate Bridge up close and personal.

The vacation was topped of with going to the U2 concert

I got home and the next day I left on a road trip with two of my friends. I was expecting to go, but I'm glad I did. One of my friends is moving and this was the real last big thing we could do together. It was more money than I wanted to spend, but it was worth it to spend time with great friends.

Snow Angels

I always enjoy playing in the snow at least once a year. I really don't mind the snow for a few months, it is when it doesn't stop snowing until May that I have a problem with. I usually try and make some friends play in the snow with me, on Saturday I was successful. A group of us got together and went to a place that has funny decorations for Christmas and then we had two groups. Each group was trying to take the funniest, most unique, coolest picture. It was fun and we ended up with a most of us doing snow angels. It was freezing, but I am pretty sure we all had fun.

Bees

I know I'm terrible at adding new posts, when I have free time, I want to rest and not think about anything. I thought I should finally stop being lazy and get to work. On May 9, a group of my friends went to a Salt Lake Bees game. The Bees is an AAA minor league baseball team for the Angels. It was so much fun, I forgot how much fun baseball can be live. Plus we had amazing seats, we were right behind home plate. I think that is what made it exciting because you felt like you were in the game. For a baseball game it was really pretty exciting, after a slow start. Their was four home runs, a stole base, someone thrown out trying to steal, and the manager of the Albuquerque Isotopes got kicked out in the 9th inning--pretty cool. I can't wait to go to another game, I want to take John to a game, he would love it.

The Never Ending Game

Last night at Family Home Evening we were learning about financial planning, after the lesson we played Monopoly and Life. For some unknown reason the group I was playing with decided to play Monopoly, which is the NEVER ENDING GAME. I have never finished a game of Monopoly and that is still a true statement. Although I did get father in the game than I have ever have before. Once the hotels came out, about half of our group decided it was time to go. I just never got into Monopoly and I still don't see why it is fun. Why is it fun to make someone go bankrupt? I guess I'm always afraid that something like that could happen to me in real life. Maybe it should be a goal of mine: never finish a game of Monopoly...

Wedding

Well on August 25, 2007 two of my best friends FINALLY
got married after being engaged for over a year!!!! It was so much fun to get to go to their wedding and see how happy they were. Another friend of ours was joking that he is the reason they got married because he introduced Emily and Lyle. That may be true, but they are married because of me. Many times while they were doing the long distance thing Emily would call me about something that Lyle did or didn't do. Then I would go talk to Lyle, then Lyle would magically say the right things to Emily the next time they talked. We had a joke that I would have to tell Lyle all the important things in their marriage. The joke was that Emily would call me a few years down the road and tell me that she was pregnant. Then I would come over and tell Lyle. It is a good thing that their relationship has progressed passed that stage and I don't have to be the middle man any more, just the third wheel.

Me and Jessica and the wedding, she is Emily's sister and one of my old roommates that I hadn't seen in about a year.

Me and Kari at the reception, since I am done with school in Rexburg, me and Kari will never again be roommates. :-( It was good while it lasted though.
