Last night at Family Home Evening we were learning about financial planning, after the lesson we played Monopoly and Life. For some unknown reason the group I was playing with decided to play Monopoly, which is the NEVER ENDING GAME. I have never finished a game of Monopoly and that is still a true statement. Although I did get father in the game than I have ever have before. Once the hotels came out, about half of our group decided it was time to go. I just never got into Monopoly and I still don't see why it is fun. Why is it fun to make someone go bankrupt? I guess I'm always afraid that something like that could happen to me in real life. Maybe it should be a goal of mine: never finish a game of Monopoly...

i've played many a game of monopoly in my life...but i too have yet to finish a game. what do you have to do to finish a game? i have no idea.
Lyle says the trick to playing a fast game of Monopoly it to trade and make deals with other players. I have not yet played it this way, but he says a game only lasts an hour or two.

I love Monopoly. We normaly take the whole weekend to play it. I am not sure the last time I finished a game and had 1 declared winner!!
