End of the Season
Well tonight the 2008 Girls Soccer season is officially over for Taylorsville. It was a mixture of up and downs, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. We started off so good, but knowing that we were in the toughest region in the state, once region play started it made things really hard. I grew so much during the season, I think I actually became a coach. I'm not exactly sure how that happened, but some how it happened. I have never been the one to have the pre-game and half time speeches, but by the end of the season I think I got much better at it. I'm excited to have more free time, or actually free time at all. My roommates are amazed at the schedule that I have and that I haven't crashed yet. I'm a little amazed at myself to be honest. I can look back at all the struggles and I'm so thankful that I was there for the girls. The team is full of amazing girls and they have become my friends and I can only hope that they still say hi to me in the halls. It might have been a struggle, but when it all comes to an end, I'm glad that I coached this year.
