It's up and it's good

Ever since I was little when I would go with my brother to practice kicking field goals, I have always wanted to kick a field goal. It looks so easy to watch kickers do it and when they miss it I think "how could they miss it, it was so close?" I've spent enough time on a football field to know that a 30 yard field goal is not just a kick in the bucket. Tonight a group of friends got together to play some football. Before the game started I kicked a 20 yard field goal, pretty easily. Then I moved back to 25 yards and then I kept coming up a few feet short. We moved on and played the game, it was getting dark the game was tied, we can't end in a tie right? So one of the guys said, "if Becca kicks a 25 yard field goal they her team wins, if she misses we win." I tried to get him to switch to a 20 yard field goal instead, so we settled in the middle with a 22.5 yard field goal. It was a perfect kick right down the middle with plenty of leg. I moved back to 25 yards and same thing, a perfect kick. I didn't want to press my luck, but next time I want to try a 30 yard field goal. Everyone seemed impressed, I was excited and and it felt really good.
